Mummy has been good at taking photos this week (and we still have a few days left for more!). As you can see from the first pic, it has been snowing heavily. Sprogzilla looks so snug in his little winter hat! Photo two sees him chillin’ in the sit-me-up cosy again, watching cBeebies. Number three is Sprogzilla having a giggle at his plush tombliboo from “In The Night Garden”.
But my absolute favourite photo this week is number four – yes, that is a piece of banana in his hand and yes he did eat a teeny weeny bit. It was so funny watching him chew it and he seemed to quite like the taste. As Sprogzilla is only a few days past 5 months, we don’t want to be doing this too often as we intend to baby-led wean at 6 months. But if Saturday afternoon was anything to go by, our little chap is going to be very ready come Christmas Eve!

LOVE the banana picture! we did BLW with Jack and he picked at bits and pieces like that for about 2 months before he actually started eating meals at about 7 months old.
Sprogzilla is such a wee cutie pie

Thanks hun, I really wasn’t expecting him to actually eat any, but the evidence was clear in his poop the next day lol.
He definitely seems ready to start going by how he managed to bite off a corner of the advent calendar last night. Not quite the type of food I was intending to start him on lol and thank goodness he didn’t reach the chocolate!
My only concern is that he is still only just over 5 months old and all the BLW advice is for 6 months plus. I don’t want to introduce food too early, but it’s so clear he wants to eat things.
