Won a cheap toy on eBay yesterday for local collection. Seller writes to us late last night and offers to deliver this afternoon as she’s in the area. We happily agree and confirm on eBay and by txt. Don’t hear from seller until a few hours ago and she’s done her business in the area. Annoyed.
We offer to collect later this afternoon. Seller agrees. Collected goods and arrived home – piece missing. Seller asks us to pick it up when Sprogdaddy has an appointment in town on Wednesday. Not hugely convenient as Sprogdaddy will have to hang around for an hour before seller’s step-son is home.
No offer made to post the missing piece. It may have been cheap, but frankly it’s the seller’s fault and if she makes a loss that’s tough. Seriously pissed off.
